MFD (Multi-Function Device) is the modern term for a networked printer/copier/scanner and these are available on all college campuses. MFDs in Print Hubs and LRCs support additional print finishing such as stapling and hole punching. Print jobs submitted from college and personal equipment are held in a single queue and these may be collected at any MFD on any campus. Jobs are held in the queue for up to 48 hours after which uncollected jobs are automatically deleted without charge.

The college encourages mono (black and white) printing but a colour capable MFD is available in each LRC. Please note that colour printing collected at a mono MFD is charged at the mono rate.

A college ID badge is needed to use the MFDs. To find out how to associate your badge with the MFDs, click here.

Additional Guidance for using the MFD print queue can be found in ITHelp here.
