Work Experience

Develop skills required for the work place and show the employer what you are capable of.

Work experience is an integral part of your full time course. You will be informed how many hours you will need to complete. It will help you develop skills required for the work place and enable you to understand what is expected from you. It also gives you an opportunity to show the employer what you are capable of. Many students progress into employment on the strength of a successful work placement.

Expenses associated with work experience are not normally paid by Wiltshire College. Students requiring financial support may apply for discretionary awards from Learner Support Funds see the Financial Assistance section.

If you are in receipt of a college Bursary, this will continue to be paid during periods of college arranged work experience as long as you attend each day.
