Changing course/ leaving course

We try to ensure that you receive accurate information and appropriate guidance to help you choose the right course. If however you think you may have chosen the wrong course, do not despair. Discuss the problem with your Personal Tutor or, if you are a part-time student, with your course tutor or Programme Leader. Both full-time and part-time students may be able to transfer to a different course. (Part-time students should see fee transfers in the Part-time course guide).

If you are a full-time student you should talk openly with your Personal Tutor, who will want to explore ways of overcoming any difficulties whether these are course related or personal. You may also wish to see the College's Guidance Services Manager about alternative courses or different ways of training, or see a Student Counsellor about more personal matters. Do not leave such discussions until it is too late!

If the problem is related to financial hardship, childcare or transport, then please see your Student Services Team in your campus reception area.
